Episode 14

I've just finished watching this episode & am really worried...
I starting to think that Takumi is going to get rid of his AE86. (God i love that car).

Guy's if your not into this japanese anime series, look it up.
It's awesome (all about cars & all about drifting!)

does anyone share my passion?

i think the whole point of adding his dismay towards his ae86 was for him to discover the "hidden potential" of the car and how to drive it to the max (by comparing it to an obviously faster car). i really doubt they'll change cars at this point, but some people have speculated that if they do, it's to lead into the initial d movie which comes after the fourth stage

Hmm ... no spoiler I suppose.

But yea, it basically gave takumi a look into his 86 and realise that he needs to push his car beyond its potential or something or rather. Not sure, the manga didn't put it down that solidly. Hopefully the anime will clear it up (as it sometimes do) a bit.

It's also an exercise from Bunta to train Takumi in different drive trains. As his next race will involve a ............. hehehehe ...

Also look at the intro closely. You will see a Skyline GTR and a S2000 and also Keisuke's new FD ... so I think the series will go on after 14th.

Should be cool =)

I've been watching Initial D from the beginning. I'd love to see it go past 5th stage, but i dont want them to ruin it just for the sake of extending...you know?

"God's Foot"? :p
Anyone else think it's a bit odd to see an S2000 in 1997? Don't get me wrong though, I loooooooove this anim? and manga series! I think the anim? shares the two most important reasons we watch Top Gear for: cars and kick-ass music!

They already made a movie and it was third stage. It's kind of odd they bring back the story on episode 14 after 13 eps. of racing.
