AFAIK, the Fiat 500 (and perhaps others) doesn't exactly qualify as a microcar. It might me small, but it's not a microcar. Not back then, not today. That's like saying that the VW Lupo is a microcar.

The Isetta and the Messerchmidt are well-known examples of microcars. The microcars of nowadays are Aixams and so on...

I can't seem to name a single car in this thread ... is anyone on the same level as me? lol... but just curious, are these production cars or one off kit cars?

Most are production cars.

They should have the Peel P50 there, the smallest-ever automobile, capable of seating "one adult and a shopping bag":

Well there's a Morgan there, so with the VW and BMW (or is it an Isetta) bubble car that's three mainstream production cars of the period. Do not recognise the others, sorry.

Me neither! To tell you the truth I was just ther standing and taking pics of the cars trying to figure out what were they. There were some Isettas, BMW's, and even Goggomobile (or something like that) which was an old german microcar maker.

But it was fun to see them gathered.

Well those are all death traps.

And top speed of what, 20 mph?

Some micro car snaps I have!

/EDIT OK I have upload issues - well here is one anyway

Nice goggomobil and caravan! Only way it would've been better if 30 clowns got out.

How could you not recognise the Biscuter, Vltros? The microcar that mobilised Spain in the 50s, long before SEAT came along. And probably the basis for some of the first attempts at carbage in Spain:

I think the Goggomobil was also made under license in Spain, but the "big" one was the Biscuter. We may laugh now, but these were the cars that dominated the European cities and roads after the devastation of WWII.

There seems to be quite a few classic car meetings where you live, Vltros. I wish we had so many events here in Valencia.

^ No, the ones in the Peel P50 are even smaller :)

Jjajajaj!!! :D

Yeah I recognised the Biscuter when I was there, but there were thousands so I probably got tired of them and completely forgot to mention them. Yep!! That's True!

And such a pity I didn't take a photograph of the Goggomobil Repairing Van from Germany. It was like a toy van!!! :p
