Wow that looks good, it even has a colour screen. Now my 4G 40GB pod doesnt look as good as it used to :(

btw they should just get rid of the Shuffle. My dad got one for himself and it sucks :thumbsdown:

yup... I think I might actually downgrade to buy this 4GB... unless apple pulls off a cool normal iPod that looks as good :D... and I really wished they stopped the shuffle as well, its a pile of crap
 
yup... the 4GB is just making me doubt slightly... if it was 20gb, it would be in my pocket tomorrow :lol:
 
If that was in 40GB form, I'd put away my 40GB in a flash. That is wicked :woot: :woot:
 
They are making an Itunes phone with Motorola...

And I read in a mag, that they are planning on an Ipod that can play videos. Then you will also be able to download movies via Itunes... Or Imovie/Iflick/Ivid whatever they will call that then...

Nah not that. Thats by another company called Portal Player I think..
Experts believe that an iPod Video is expected to be announced at earliest- late September/early October. Apple wont ship then out until December probly.

Also:

Call me cynical, but iPods annoy the hell out of me. Remember when owning one used to be trendy? Now it seems like not owning one is individual. Sure, it's a neat piece of engineering, and it's beautifully designed, but I could get a sexy-looking JetAudio iAudio X5 that plays music and movies and holds 20GB of anything for less. Instead of having yet another iPod just like everybody else, like all the media attention they're getting (A bigger story than Hurricane Russian Bitch, CNN?) despite the fact that they're still good devices.

I don't know. Must be the cynical individualist in me talking, especially after having popped into two Best Buys on two seperate occasions for half an hour and seeing two people buy iPods at each location. That's 2 people every half hour, 4 people an hour, 96 people a day, 672 people per week buying into the marketing hype without doing any research...Well, that's what I'm assuming anyway. My fellow forum members are smarter than that. :p
 
You're right 3 out of every 4 MP3 player is probably an iPod but it can't be helped. It is such a good device. It's graphical and physical user interface is so well designed that you virtually do not need to open the manual. Yes time was it was very rare but since it was offered for Windows users everyone and their grandfather picked one up. Other players may offer the same capacity at a lower price point but they have their own shortcomings and they aren't iPods.

My question's this... if everyone has a Ferrari F430 would you buy yourself a Honda Civic Type R? Taken in another way seeming everyone is using Windows why not switch to a Mac? :)
 
oh my god, this thing is impossibly small. I would just by it to see for myself how small it is.

I and mmap have the same opinions :)
