Is Elon Musk gambling his business empire?

Amazing what $10 gets you:

Linda Yaccarino again claims advertisers are returning to X. Here are the facts.

The majority of Twitter’s top 100 advertisers pre-Musk have spent at least 90% less on ads in the last 12 weeks than they did in the 12 weeks before Musk took over
For example, Visa — which Yaccarino cited as an example of a “returning” advertiser — has spent just $10 in the past 12 weeks, compared to roughly $77,500 in the 12 weeks before Musk bought Twitter.

still hasn't understood that the world doesn't need any more proof that he's actually 12 :| we get it, you're a child.

I saw a very nice post by a wikimedia engineer showing why they ask for donations and why their budget is as high as it is (this is the point elmo seems irritated by and what started this shit) - and the sheer numbers are frankly insane (sth like 100k http request per second, on average). that blew my mind a little.

I was wondering why my old buddy got all worked up recently. It's a real hive mind Elmo bought and has on X.

"Musk later fired an engineer who showed him his popularity was declining on the app, the Platformer report added."

And that tells you everything you need to know about him. Reminds me of the self-aware narcissist, Zaphod Beeblebrox, "If there's anything more important than my ego, I want it caught and shot right now."

I heard in a podcast someone commenting on the fact that he's a "fan" or The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Asimov, etc. but he does so without getting it. He'd definitely be Zaphod Beeblebrox. (I doubt he even read the books.)
