Is my mobo being a turd?

My old speakers have had some intermittent static for years but only when no sound is playing so it hasn't bothered me much. Recently they've gotten much worse.

Then my GPU started crashing. Screen goes black for a couple of seconds, then comes back.

Then my mouse started double-clicking on its own when I just click once.

Then today my computer froze at the starting windows screen and when I restarted it forced me to do system restore.

WTF???

Could things be over heating? It could also be bad ram (wouldn't cause the static, but that could be another issue).
