Hi. I live in USA so we dont get coverage of the WRC as the Europeans do. Ive been looking for a site that has WRC footage for the longest time and cant find anything except for the yearly recaps.

Any of you guys know any sites.

BTW: This is my first post so heres a pic of my car.

Nice car and photos! I'm with you on the issue of WRC coverage, there just isn't any in the states and it's quite annoying.

Anyone know of a good source?

Thanks all.

lben,

If your in the states you might get SPEED channel. They broadcast a 2 hour WRC program after every event.

I get SPEED when im at home in Los Angeles but when im in school (Tucson, Arizona) the only race on TV is NASCAR (what fun  )

Yeah its on SpeedChannel here in New York too, but its on at weird times inbetween all the nascrap. Usually I find it on at like 11PM EST, when it is on I'm glued to the screen. Really wish I could catch the episodes more often.

They show Nascrap too much on speedchannel, whenever I go to the station, its some program of interviewing one of the nascrap's drivers or something, and its oh-so-boring, it seems to be on all the time. Literally.

Yeah, SPEED covers WRC.

Anyway, www.f1racingworld.com has WRC coverage, but they've gone to an invite system. There's an invite thread around here somewhere...

i'm happy with the speed coverage
i used to rip it but not enuff interest in it so w/e

I for one can't understand why so many people are interested in F1 but only such a small group cares about WRC/rally.. I can't be bothered at all by F1 yet that is what the sports channels broadcast all weekend long when there's a GP going on. Rally requires a lot more skill imo and for sure gives a lot more action.. Also the fact that you could actually go to your car dealer and buy one of those cars (well almost) makes it a lot more interesting :)

BTW I'm also getting my WRC stuff from f1racingworld.com, don't have any invites tho.

Nice ride! Ever think of going 22B spec on that ?

Speaking of WRC/Rally, the coverage on F1RacingWorld is good, but one the items the caugh my eye even more was a Channel 10 Aussie coverage of the 2005 Subaru Rally of Canberra. Fantastic.

If anyone want's to see a really high quality Group N type rally production, I can put it on the tracker.

I'm a WRC/Dakar/Baja kinda guy, dricing a '04 Subie NA Wagon, which in 8 weeks time will sport the JDM STi Wagon suspension to go with the JDM spec STi seats. Do I wish I had a turbo ? Sure, but 2.5 SOHC is great in the twisty mountain roads. If cash becomes available one of these days, an V.8 RA Spec C engine-tranny-centerdiff would be my first choice for upgrade. Otherwise a Crawford EJ22T with forged titatnium setup with my exisiting tranny.

Subie are dangerous for the tinkering types! It's like Lego ... just a wee bit more expensive.

Unfortunately Subaru of America only brought the EJ205 to america in 2002. My car is a EJ251 (2.5NA 165HP/166 lb. ft.) Im doing suspension before engine (It takes a real driver to beat a vette or viper in a car with under 200bhp). Ive got Prodrive WR sports right now but this summer im going to revalve the bilsteins and put 425/450 pound springs on them, should be great at the track. After that im getting a EJ22t fully closed deck bloke with the 2.5RS ported heads and building it to about 400-450AWHP. The engine is going to have to wait.

Sound like a sweet plan. I'm also an EJ251, Phase 2.

The idea of using the 2.5 NA ported heads on EJ22T is a bit of a dwadle as your compression drops to somethin like 7.3:1 ... and it's not a perfect fit. I don't have link to back it up in fornt of me ... but it is one avenue that I seriously investigated.

Anyhoot, this is a real nice project :D

As for the suspension, I'm in the same logic. My limitation is that the Wagon rear struts are quite different and I don't want to have to put camber plates in just to compensate for the sedan strut's angle shift ... and I have to take care of height/sagy-but issues as well. May just add some Group N top mounts to stiffen a little more ... if it becomes needed.

Can't wait form my takeoff STi suspension 8)

I thought the AXN channel was American? Owned by Sony anyway but a lot of American programs on it over here.

That's the channel i get all my update WRC stuff on.
