Hey!

I wanna change my Inet plan and there fore need the pw that is stored, so it works, but I can't find the letter where the password was in plain text.

Is there any way to make it plain text in the Systemmanagement/Internet Optins/sonnections thing?
I tried various programs, but they couldn't do it. Maybe somebody has a secret weapon for that...

http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/astlog.zip worked for me...just open the prog, and go to your asterisked password, it will show it in normal characters...

EDIT:
This was the one I meant...this is the best program i have ever used. It's free. You just have to install it, start the program with the password, and click recover, in the tool...

Yeah, it doesn't work for me... Both...Like all the other Progs, it can't extract the pw... It looks like this:

I guess this is some kind of protection...

Which kinda makes sense in my opinion...

Seriously, I'm not surprised that it's not THAT easy to extract the password. Otherwise it would be absolutely uselss.

Ask your provider, he'll give you a new one. You're not the first person who has that problem I guess.

Sure they do. But its only working via Fax or a letter, and as I don't have a Fax machine, I need to go to some other place. And they close my account until I get the new pw. But as I use another ISP anyway, thats nothing important... Its just for my basic connection -> T-online. Dunno how its in other countries, OliB will understand, I guess..

Would have been nice, if it would have worked... ;-)

There are loads of programs for this stuff, but it's a bit more difficult with winxp.
This one should work just fine.

I guess, it would work... But I need to get the prog going first... retrieving 1 pw isn't worth 20 bucks... ;-)
Thanks!

//edit: Well, this prog works perfect for it... Found a way, so that it works ;-)
