Sadly no. The car was not registered. He was keeping it in the garage to enjoy it when he retires in a few years. But that tree kinda spoiled his plans.

Garage doesn't have home insurance either? And why wouldn't he insure it against theft/fire etc.? That's what i do for the unregistered Donkervoort.

Usually, home insurance specifically excludes vehicles, since they have their own insurance.
