Casino Royale was the first Bond film I actually got seriously into. I think it was really the first James Bond that was remotely plausible and at least tried to be realistic. I'll let go the fact that a supremely-balanced car like the Aston he drove would never flip from merely taking a corner too sharply, as it was an otherwise very good and believable movie.

Now, I can't wait to see this one!

That and Daniel Craig is so undeniably cool...

As I've said before, I'd go gay for Daniel Craig in a heartbeat.
...but not that cool.

I loved Casino Royale but i think the weirdest part was the gadgets. A defibrillator..uh huh. You know they were thinking "hmm he has guns and random gadgets that can do anything....what are we missing in this Aston...a defibrillator!"

This new movie looks like it will be pretty epic.

It looks like there's no reason to fear when your favorite franchise releases a movie so horrible you dare not speak of it, they just reboot the franchise and it kicks ass again (Batman Begins, Casino Royale).
Yeah even the Hulk movie was a serious improvement with a reboot.

I badmouthed Casino Royale for a full year until it came out, and then I saw it and was very surprised that Daniel Craig pulled it off. Hopefully this one is just as good.
He couldn't of done much worse than the shit Broson was churning out post Goldeneye (so much potential wasted :( )

what are we missing in this Aston...a defibrillator!"

Bond always has these completely irrellevant gadgets that he only seems to need in some weird extreme case...that always conveniently seems to happen during the film

you know in advance that if he has a defibrillator in his car, someone will have a heart attack or something and he'll use his handy built in defibrillator...

Alright, am I the only one that is not ABSOLUTELY impressed by this trailer?:|:|

I loved casino royale, but I think a lot of its charm was due to the fact that there was not that much action in it.. Judging by this trailer, we'll be going back to the "Brosnan bond" (exculding Goldeneye cause it kicked ass). I mean, that trailer is so full of explosions it starts to drag on a bit.. Although I have to admit, I love the fact that the DBS is getting more screen time this time around :D

Bear in mind that this is just my prediction based on the trailer. Lets hope that this movie, like casino royale, ckicks serious ass. And no, I would not go gay for daniel craig. Seriously, no. Thats just wrong.

I know it sounds crazy, but I could actually believe having a defibrillator in the car. Well, not an actual defibrillator (those are too big even for an ambulance, an AED is more likely). AEDs are getting so small that in a few years you might be able to get a car-sized one. I work in a New York City skyscraper, and as part of our emergency plan each section of my floor has an AED, and its no bigger than a smallish laptop (think EEE PC). I could see MI6 throwing one in a car, just in case.

im with you on that. its not strange to have a first aid box in the car and with Bond's line of work being abit dangerous from time to time makes sense to have a defibrillator in the car.

I was kind of expecting Casino Royale to be along the lines of Die Another Day, lots of explosions and special effects but not really interesting. I agree that Brosnan had great potential of being an excellent Bond, it's too bad that the movies after Goldeneye were so terrible.

Tomorrow Never Dies wasn't that bad.

I'm glad they restarted Bond in the style that Fleming wrote. This new one looks awesome. I wonder: are they re-starting SPECTRE?

Downloaded this to my HTPC and watched it in HD with the sound turned up. I got quite excited :)

I didn't mind Brosnan, Die Another Day was a bit silly, but still a good way to spend a couple of hours (apart from the god awful CGI when he goes "surfing"... :D)

Looking forward to the new movie in a few months!

Casino royal was crap. A James bond without an epic car chase or boat chase isn't worth seeing. And for Danial Craig... i rather have a 500 pound fat man squat over my face and project diarrhea into my mouth then watch one of his performances of James Bond.

I quiet liked Casino Royale and Daniel Craig. He's much more sinister than Pierce Brosnan, and to be honest Die Another day was pretty crap with invisible cars and the like. James Bond should definitely have gadgets, but they should be relatively realistic, unlike the invisble Aston Martin and the stupid icarus satellite thing.

Indeed. Best since Goldeneye.
