I am looking for an article by James May in last years Top gear mag (probably in March, April or June issue) where he talks about Marketing research and how he was in a concert which would have been boring as hell had it been planned by researchers... Does anyone have the mag and could scan it or is it somewhere online (tried to look but didn't find)?

Thanks for help if someone can help :)

Too bad the magazine section at JW was removed... The only usefull thing they had for me...

Removed? I'm seeing it atm.

now I know I have that issue of top gear cause I was reading that exact article a few weeks back. I'll have a look for you. I also found an interesting 4 page article on richard hammond. Just need to refit my scisi card to fire up my scanner again.

I'll do my best, having trouble getting my good scanner working, may have to dig out shitty lexmark multi function :yucky:

jasonchiu any particular articles your after? I have a lot of old mags and books.

umm just the main articles i guess. god every time i see a TG or forgein magazine i like its so bloody overpriced. all i can do i look at the front cover through a plastic protection bag :(

I'd like to read the colums by Jeremy, James and Richard. If you could scan some of them it would be very very nice :)

Right you lucky lucky people I actually got off my arse and did it (unfortunatly had to use shitty lexmark, I might run it over with my truck I hate it so much)

Sorry about the average quallity, but they are completely readable.

I went though all the mags I had to hand and scanned in all 37 coloums. There's also a good article on Richard hammond from one of my landrover mags. enjoy!!

Is there anyone who could host this zip file? I'm running this web server off my home connection and that files pretty big, can't have you screwing up my counter strike ping ;)

mmap here's the one your after

edit: how the hell do you force an image to post at a small size???

Cruzz563 edit: fixed the image size

And here's the code you want for posting a thumbnail of a larger image:

Code:
[URL=Large image URL][IMG]Thumbnail URL.jpg/gif[/IMG][/URL]

You'll need, as you can see, a smaller version, the forum won't to do it automatically. That'd be nice if it did tho :)

Cheers mate, yeah I wasn't sure if the forum could do it, I must get some proper webspace. It would be nice to stick a load of thoose articles up on the net for all too see.
Funny thing I noticed is that at least 70% of Jeremy's articles were about how crap rover was ;)

so.......wheres the rest of the mag?

I'm afraid until you do better on your maths homework your not allowed any ;) (only kidding)

Seriously though untill I get my good scanner working again I'm not trying anything else.

On a seperate note, I'm going to destroy that lexmark multifunction. I'll video it and post it on the forum, but how should I do it?

Run it over really slowly with tire?
or put it on a box and hit it as fast as I can with the bumper?
any other idea's?

Ruuman... You are truly a man among men, your valour is second to none and children will sing songs about you and your kindness around campfires for generations to come. May thou children be helthy and happy and only good things be bestoved upon you!

In other words, Cheers mate!
