i have messed up my keyboard. i opened up the whole keyboad and cleaned it. now that i connected it back, it won't work. i restarted the pc and it gave a no keyboard error. it somehow opened windows but still the keyboard does not work. what is the problem with it

i am typing using the onscreen keyboard.

did you apply enough oil during assembly?

You didn't leave it plugged in while you cleaned it, did you? If so there's a very good chance that the board is fried, bin it and buy a new one. It doesn't take much, I killed a few boards while building my sim buttons because I forgot to unplug it before fiddling.
