lol, and in my first post.
But I never seen the interior, is that not provided and every kit-builder makes their own or what ?

The Ultima is a sick car, so is the K-1. These cars are great for guys like me who like building or tuning thier own cars. So much control over what you drive it's amazing. I prefer hard tops, but I doubt it would be that difficult to modify the frame and add on body bits for a hard top version, heheh.

found a link to some K1 stuff, along with video:

I think kit cars are awesome. They allow the smaller makes to get around expensive and restrictive regs to make pure sportscars, and allow the owners to modify the car to any extent they wish, ending up with a product that they helped to make great. It's the replicars that are stupid. If you want you can build a car yourself, and as long as it has proper road equiptment register it as a kit car and take it out on the road, cool stuff!

These are the only pics I could find of the interior:

I believe it's from an earlier test prototype, so I doubt it actually looks like that now. Being a kit car tho, you can probably change everything.

here is the only snap of the interior I care to see:

Just imagine a crate LS6 peeking out from under that glass, showing off some ITBs with polished velocity stacks. and the SOUND!!!

who needs karpets it you can see the carbon

hmmm, depends on what you define as a kit car, if you mean ferrari "replicas" then that's pathetic, but cars that are all "new" and try to be a little different can be some of the best. It's also about the only way a really small company or new company can compete with established brands. so keeps things interesting. Afterall Lotus was for a very long time a kit car manufacturer right up to the Elan.

I'll definitely get myself a westfield megabusa at some point 8) it's just a shame none of the clubman makers have put together something like the Caterham 21 tho... Suzuki Sport was heading in the right direction with the Hayabusa Prototype tho
