The problem is, anything remotely convienent is either non-existent or the guy who posts it on offer doesn't want cars. Despite the listing very early being garage/workshop place. it's weird. But the hunt continues.

Everything's a bit of a turd at the moment and I couldn't focus on anything else, so I now have a turd tracker.

a.k.a. I have approximately 46 deferred maintenance-related problems and I probably forgot some. Hopefully the Lancer gets a new cat either this week or the next.

I get to check off my first item from that list! New cat is installed. Check engine light is off. Here's hoping that fixed the problem.
 
New catalytic converter works! No more blinky light.

Buuuuut I waited so long that I have to physically go into the stupid tax office to renew my plates. :mad:
 
Welp, I got hailed on en route to the dentist the other day. It looks like there's only a few big dents and no damage to the glass, but I haven't had time to have the dent guy check it out yet.

Life: bad. My poor little car.
 
Welp, after going to Mom's on garbage Highway 31 basically proved that new shocks need to be next.

Well, turds. Looks like it's time to get the Lancer new tires, too. The fronts are riiiiight on the wear bars.

Deferred Lancer hooptieness probably takes me out of Ringmeet this year. :( Balls.
 
Uninstalled Grinder from my brakes this afternoon.

Still need to order new pads and rotors (and maybe a new caliper), but this'll at least get it usable for when I need to go somewhere in the meantime.
