On Saturday, after I sold the Alfa, I went to a big American car meet called Lucky Cruisers Weekend to meet a friend and check out a van he helped restoring. The weather was sunny with no clouds in sight and you could see a lot of different cars from different eras (almost 550 registered cars in total) parked around the pond in the camping area. There were many Mustangs celebrating the model's 50th anniversary (no Mustang IIs from what I recall), next big group were the F-Bodies, especially the second and third gen. Also Corvettes, but shamefully no C2 or C7.

First off, my friends' cool GMC Vandura. They got a prize in the Best Van category. I Got a ride in it and loved it - so comfy and accompanied by a characterful rumble.

And now to other cars that caught my eye:

And a shot from the ride to the train station in another city:

America, fuck yeah!:

I've always liked American cars, but every time I attend an event like this, I want one really bad.

Awesome stuff, including some not-so-obvious choices.
