OK, seriously, Stiggleton, what would make the sky that red?

The sky wasn't that red ;) I just really liked the red/black PP. This is the original, straight from the camera, which was orange...it's not actually that for from the PP version, what do you think?

Angled or shifted? I see no reason to have a tilted horizon here.

Sorry, I meant shifted. I would want the focal point of the tracks to be parallel with the right edge of the frame, and then the warehouse on the left side.

Again, just me tho

Too tired to wait until midnight here so here goes

Next time, wait for a train to come, and that'll be excellent! :)

(bonus points if it's an old steam train)

CV - How far did you have to walk to take that shot? :p

Epp - Seeing all your pictures makes me wish we had snow here :(

Sal - Nice trails

For some strange reason the neighbouring town always has its new years' fireworks on December 29th at 8pm... o_O

Have been pleasantly surprised by the wee iPhone's camera, certainly better than my old SE C902 5.0MP Cybershot. All processing done in-phone too.

I couldnt agree with you more. Here's one I took a couple of months ago in Frankfurt, same story with PP. What do you use though? Photogene or Photoshop?

EDIT: Now that the pics are side by side, it is striking how similar the composing and PP are :D
