wow - I had a lot of catching up to do, the one's that have really stood out for me over the last few pages are whoster's L-Glass shot, and then later his van in the trees one. Also Monkeymax's Speed Camera shot is brilliant - so vivid. And then the STI shots are nice expecially the revcounter one, which I know gets done a lot but this one really stands out from the crown for me - the contrast is just so intense. Finally I'm still loving the work of lben and I really liked the sunset over the snow shot.

Keep up the good work everyone, this thread rules! :D

Thanks for the comments Overheat and Mancs! :) Glad you liked the shots!

As for the Gangster's Daughter and the passed out birthday girl - both great shots, and especially  for the passed out birthday girl!

bitirx, wow.. i love those kind of clouds!!! They remind me of diarrhea
Well, that's an unusual description... :)
But yeah, sweet shot Bitrix. We don't get clouds like that very often around here...

Today's shot is something a little different - from one of the houses where I've been helping with the decorating, took this a couple of nights ago, before clearing up... :)

I actually took two shots like this, the other is closer (so shows a bit more detail of the end of the piece of wood) but I much prefer the framing of this shot. Once again, this photo is pretty much straight out the camera - it's just been resized... I may not be a big fan of my camera, but sometimes it surprises me... :)

Right. I haven't posted a pic for ages so I'm gonna break the rules (rebel!) and post 3. They're all of my dog, Charlie, and the lens flair is courtesy of my 13 y.o sister.

I really like that! Definitely appeals to my sense of design.

Finals are finally over! So I went skiing the other day and took photos of a race. Here's my favorite:

lben, good shot. Color is great, composition is fantastic, could do without the snow mobile though. Focus is a bit off though, were you manual focus?

On Another note, I was bored today.

The second picture is just gorgeous, RPM!
Agreed, that second pic is the best and really nice...

As usual more greatness from Whoster and lben too! Especially Whoster's shot - unusual but yet works really well - and yeah, nice lens... Lucky you! :)

Edit: Forgot to add a photo...
Was back at my old uni tonight to see some mates. Not many good photos, but will have to have another look some other time. For now, an unusual look into my external hard drive enclosure - a photo I took a couple of days ago...

I particularly like the way that the cable on the right looks a bit like a long line of Aquafresh toothpaste... :)
