An old wisdom says driving an expensive car doesn't mean one has a lot of money, it just means one
had a lot of money.
And with today's financing options I think even that doesn't hold. It's just a matter of priorities. I don't own my own home, I rent an apartment instead. I just preferred to get the car I wanted first.
Your doctor job pays quite well actually. My ENT specialist charges $300 a visit. A visit is 15 minutes, I'd be surprised if a good doctor can't afford a ferrari or a lambo in 10 years.
