Some people said this one makes their eyes hurt, but I still like it. Although I think it could be better with a freeze flash at the end...

got to go out on the Sound for the first time in about 13 years, so I made sure to have my camera in hand to take some photos. Please note the mountain in the background :D

My photo of today, I made a panorama from the city where I live earlier this week.
It's been taken from the tower of the church in the middle of the city.
The photo's are stitched together with photoshop.
I think it?s not bad for a first time ;)

Here's my shot for the day:

And as for those hovering balls... they're UFO's, of course! Seriously though, I have no idea. They're tied to the top horizontal piece of the bridge, and they're not actually round either. Here's a 100% crop from another angle. Sorry for the bad quality, the shot isn't actually focused on those objects. But we'll see if anybody can figure out what they are... I certainly can't.

Voodoo, Do you have another shot, without the headache-inducing zoom effect? I'd imagine a rolling shot from that angle would be sweet ;)

flamingice: In the crop, it looks like bolts hanging in some sort of string from the bridge.

And awesome shot Skoshi! :D

Thanks guys, that shot took some heavy channel mixing to get the colours like I wanted them.. So I guess you could call it a painting

Ahh, yeah, I see what you mean. Except that they're around the size of a baseball or something. Huh, I've been living in North America too long, using a baseball as a reference for size. :?

Nice work Skoshi. And Voodoo, I actually like the shot of the Porsche with the zoom. Although I do agree with you about the freeze flash.

This was shot last fall and I finally got the film processed. Yes, I still shoot 35mm. This is a negative scan and it was night, so the film is a little grainy.

If I remember right this is about a 2 minute exposure.

They only light this up once a year and the conditions were perfect.
