Had some classic cars running around in my area, just happened to have a B&W roll in the camera, so these shots turned out pretty cool.

Cost me nearly $30 to get the roll developed though..

This was taken last summer (2006) from a top of a church in our town center.

Try adding some contrast and sharpening, pictures converted to b&w tend to look a bit flat if contrast isn't added, and even in colour your picture isn't that "contrasty". Besides that, looks nice :) composition and point of view are interesting.

I hope you don't mind, I tried adding some contrast and played with the curves a bit...we only have GIMP here at school and I'm not used to it, so I may have gone a bit overboard :p

dude if your school uses GIMP that rocks. Although it makes perfect sense given where you are.

I don't think it rocks, the whole program seems so illogical after photoshop/psp :? And we used to have Photoshop CS2 installed in a couple of classrooms, but for some reason they removed them. Dammit.

kind of droped off for a while... darn school gets in the way!

here's a tram from Budapest

I love GIMP for a lot of stuff, and removing it probably had something to do with it costing a bazillion dollars.

GIMP is okay for very basic image editing, but for doing chops and such, it is completely and utterly useless. But for a free (and opensource) product that is completely maintained by volunteers, you have to say it is VERY good :)
