Lens Flair

The lens used is the Nikkor 60/2.8 micro, I would think. Aperture f/5.0.

I am sorry if this has been asked to death, but what lens are you using?

Don't worry, I have the old version of the 60mm 2.8 micro lens. You should be able to get similar results with any macro lens really because the focusing distance is so close apertures almost have a completely different meaning. If you want to look into hiring or even buying a macro lens I would recommend getting the 105mm (could get an older one it just doesn't have VR) because with the 60mm you have to get so close it can block out quite a bit of light.

epp_b, I liked those shadows, but I wonder if it had more contrast...

Here's an old mine, in the car, with lots of post processing and a dirt windshield :p

Concert, different people playing different songs, common denominator: guitars.

Disclaimer: Concert photography is not my strong side.

@Francis, that is a very tranquil waterscape.

Because you hate sepia and because I am still stuck in portrait-land, this is my contribution. It's an oldie, oic, but one I like.

There are some great photos on this page, so I'm going to ruin things with a quick shot I took at the tennis today. The colours have come out really weird after uploading (kind of muddy) so I'm not sure what to do about that.
