whats up gentleman, ive been following this thread since about 600 pages and ive been through every single page. You guys have some really good pics here. i think im pretty decent but i hope to learn from you guys..as ive seen in your posts your no amateurs:D and as any good photographer knows theres always room for improvement. hope i can add some flavor and appreciate all your great posts.:cool:

Well for starters i would like to see the whole text and it needs a bit straightening (check the top) otherwise looks good.

I did straighten it out as well as I could. The photo wasn't straight to start with. Plus I'm still with the 18-55 lens on my D40, so I couldn't get a good shot of the entire plaque at the bottom of the monument. It just didn't fit in the frame.

I shot so close since I still don't own a tripod and I was using a bunch of small things to raise the car and camera in front of a window.

I used a wide aperture because I thought the interior bits looked really plastic and would be an obvious giveaway, didn't want that stuff to show up.

Edit: Hmm, I think I should try this with a different model. This GT diecast is a really cheap Hot Wheels one, it's full of gaps and stuff it appears. When I feel like stacking a bunch of books again I'll try a different one. :p
