Thanks jayhawk +rep(or not...gotta spread it around some more)

Nice shot man, your stuff is getting really amazing.

Haven't posted anything in a while, haven't had the chance to go out. Might do so in the next day or so. So one from the not so distant archives then, as in last month or there abouts. Nothing too special this time.

Clicky for Bigger.

Edit: the colour has gone pants since uploaded to flickr...

Salguod make sure you export your pics with sRGB color formatting so they display properly within browsers.

What jayjaya29 said. Before exporting from photoshop, go EDIT --> convert to colour profile, select sRGB. And that's one epic photo, although composition (which can be fixed by cropping) lacks a bit.

I did something brash while I was at Niagara Falls and and shot in midday sun

I was little disappointed in myself overall, though. Three days there (first day was just the evening). First day, cloudy evening (though it made for some nice long exposure opportunities; will post here in the coming days). Second day, it clouded over during sunset. Third day, after getting up early to visit relatives, spending five hours in MarineLand and having the most disgusting lunch in the history of everything, I was completely exhausted for what was a sunny golden hour :(

Despite that, I'm still somewhat pleased with this photo. At least there was some sky.

Do you want us to hate you?:D Nevertheless, beautiful pano...maybe not the cars on the right, but on the other hand they lend scale to the landscape.

Yes, I want you to hate me. And the cars are a part of the landscape, that's why they're there. :p

I had the best hamburger of my life on the American side of Niagara Falls, the bun was a bun-pretzel hybrid and it changed my life, I fully intended to return to Niagara Falls but I'm eating that burger first and taking pictures second...

I got incredibly lucky with this photo today

Sweeeet. I've been waiting a looooooong time for a good lightning storm. The other day we had tons of lightning, but it was all while it was light out so I couldn't really take pictures of it. I was asleepin during the one before that. And last time I did go out to try to get lightning pictures the storm was already blowing away and really far away. Humbug.

Local country festival, vocalist and gitarist in Colt 45. To the right, we've got Johnny Cash's old bass, and somewhere in the back, Dolly Parton's drummer.

They're very good.
