i think its kuhmo, not kumho (the tyre company) but yes.. thats a nice region to shoot em.. gotta have a trip like that someday.

I would imagine it's simple: don't look/smell/seem appetizing. Then no problem.

Or photograph them *after* they ate the last photographer who tried to get up close to shoot. Usually when they have full stomachs they're pretty placid :lol:

your right sifu it was Kuhmo. had some trouble with the language. on the plane one of the words showed on the screen had like 6 ?'s in it :O
@RoamingGnome, I was in special hides (very small barracks) build that the animals doesnt smell you. and then you have to wait :)
I staid in those hides 14hour a day for six nights. Can be quit tough, but its an incredible experiance to see the animals so close. Oh and its not realy dangerous because the bears where very shy, one unknown noise and they are gone.
