Nice one Alok. Did you just lean out the window??

Yea, I was in the back seat, I took some pictures looking back as well, just after we had overtaken the corsa, and also when a biker was behind us.

How did you set the camera, speed, for that shot Alok?

I tried different shutter speeds, in the end settling between 1/80 and 1/30. We drove up and down a section of road so that we got the sun exactly right, and I kept snapping away. I simply strapped the camera strap around my arm and then leant out of the car clicking.

80-200mm AF-D 1:2.8

the lens is the sexy. like...wow.

i'm so getting one once my wallet can stabilize

I like mine :D

I get some great shots with my other lenses, but every time I put my 80-200 on the camera I can't help but be impressed with the image quality.

here's another autocross photo.. using the 80-200 of course:

80-200mm f/2.8 is my next big purchase as well. I fell in love with 180mm f/2.8 but it wasn't that usable and at the time I needed money for something else so I ended up selling it. Should have kept it, damn it was sharp.

Would be awesome if I managed to get an 80-200 during this year, but it'll probably have to wait 'till 2008. Well, at least if I try for the 2-ring version. Might end up with a pump version if a nicely kept lens comes my way.
