Lexus missing in action

Beyond stupid on behalf of TRD.

Think of how many people got interested in buying the C5 and C6 Corvettes because they saw them at LeMans and ALMS races? When I was at Road America attending an ALMS race there was an estimated 20-25,000 people there...think of the great advertising for the Lexus! I would say in that crowd, 15-20% could afford that car...its a different gendre at ALMS races than what you find at NASCAR races, and thus the Lexus would be appealing to the spectators.

This is the story about the death of Team Lexus in ALMS

im fucking MAD!
that car is as perverted looking as the BMW M3 GTR
and was made in the same way .. on he razor edge of the rules
but FUCK! we will never see it race. all due to NASCAR.
FUCK!

Hey, now, don't go placing blame where it doesn't belong. Just because the words "NASCAR" and "no ALMS entry" appear in the same article doesn't mean that one is the fault of another.

This sounds more like an act of politics gone sour on the parts of the parties involved, namely Lexus and TRD. Who knows, maybe Team Lexus is to blame?

Unfortunate nonetheless, but don't take your frustration out on something just because it's convinient.

Is the car forsale? Because if it is some privteer could use it on the ALMS. I would if I had the money.
