I just saw System of a down at an open-air venue here in Oslo. I've seen some live videos of them before and they were not impressive. However, they've obviously got their act together, 'cause tonight they were pretty good, great concert.
I also saw Eels a week ago, great concert, very intimate (500 people approx.)
So I wonder, what bands have you guys (and girls) seen live and who would you like to see?

Here's my list:
Weezer (best concert ever!)
Queens of the stone age (twice)
Turbonegro (thrice)
Metallica
Iron Maiden
Tomahawk
Fu Manchu
The Mars Volta (twice)
Foo Fighters
Audioslave
Sepultura
Hellacopters
Blur
Cardigans
Madrugada
Kaizer's Orchestra

I would really like to see The Get up kids, Jimmy eat world and Tool (had tickets to see Tool once, but those fuckers cancelled). A Soundgarden, Smashing Pumpkins or Faith no more reunion wouldn't be too bad either.

I'v never seen any live performance except for the time in my village I heard a local singer, anyway I wanna see a Tiesto or a Darude Gig, As for Concerts I'd wanna checkout Green Day and U2.

Nuthin like a bit of HUMAN FEAR

Seen in concert

U2 (Popmart)
Pearl Jam
Radiohead
Coldplay
Smashing Pumpkins
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Simply Red (I know, I know, but I had a great time :p)

PS: i only listed the groups which i think are known all over the world, and i actually saw, heard lots more live performing
and the best performance i've ever seen must have been grandaddy or radiohead, 2 mindblowing shows (and not because of the lazershow  )

not a big concert guy, been only to metallica 5-6years ago, but that rocked 8)

I don't know many of those, among them grandaddy, but Radiohead has to be the best one I saw, too...

Of course i've been to big festivals like Rock Werchter, Marktrock etc...

But THE best concert I ever saw was Eric Clapton last year in Antwerp. Crystal clear sound and just fenomenal music. I've seen every Clapton DVD, but this was much better. I never heard such a good guitarsolo, and believe me, I heard A LOT of guitar solo's in my life.

I also wanna see Led Zeppelin or The Jimi Hendrix Experience :) but I guess that's not gonna happen.

I have seen:

Iron Maiden, twice
Metallica.
Guns 'n' Roses
AC/DC
Kiss
Depeche Mode
some others not worth mentionning.

But in the electronica scene:

I have heard music played live from:

Ti?sto. Here in Qu?bec at a club and in Montr?al at raves.
Paul van Dyk. At a Montr?al rave: disappointing, no interaction with the crowd at all.
Sasha. Once, not my cup of tea.
Armin van Buuren. Three times, the guy is great.
Deep Dish. Once in Montr?al, unsatisfied, gonna see them again next month here in Qu?bec.
Ferry Corsten.
John Digweed. Only once, really wanna see him again. One of my favorites.
Marco V. Last week, good music, bad mixes.
Infected Mushroom. Four times. Got to see them live, their albums don't do them justice.
Misstress Barbara. Plenty of times, most of them very good.
Preach. Local DJ but #196 on the DJ list. My local favorite.
Chris Liberator. Hard Acid DJ, more than a few times. :)
Analog Pussy. from Germany
S4. From Ottawa.
Aponaut. from Toronto.
and a bunch of lesser known DJs and artists which I can't all remember at the moment.

Qu?bec is a happening place for electronica. If you happen by, make sure and visit "Chez Dagobert" on a thursday. You never know who could be there that night. ;)

i have only been to

Linkin Park - in Hong Kong

which was really good but the audience was shit and there was like no one there for such a big band, eveyrone could fit in the front stand

and 1st thing they announced - no moshing. AHAHHAHA

None yet but I'm seeing Coldplay in London on the 28th. Can't wait!

edited my list a little bit, got rid of the local groups noone will know, and sorted them by genre

Short list here...

Seen in concert:
David Hasselhoff

It was at least 15 years ago though, that's it.

Erm..

I've seen..
Deep Purple (What a concert to be my FIRST rock concert, simply amazing, best ever.)
Linkin Park (used to love them, hate them to bits now)
Incubus
And.. Madison Avenue/Mel C (peer pressure)

I'd love to see..
Metallica (would pay any amount of money for them to come here)
Iron Maiden
Deep Purple, again
Guns N Roses (old gang with slash)
Bon Jovi
Led Zeppelin
Joe Satriani
Queen

Yeah so some of those concerts are impossible but I wish I could do that after I die or something.

My list only includes danish bands :p

Aqua (before they got famous)
Lars Lilholt Band
T?rfisk (several times)

and I'm sure I have been to more, but I can't remember

Here's your idol...

Jimmy Eat World i would recommend seeing!! they're awesome live. I didnt see them in a big arena, more of a large club scene. thats when there at their best!
Blink were also very good live, but they didnt feel very connected to the audience, which sortof let the whole thing down a bit. but still good!!
