Looking for a Merkur XR4TI power steering rack

I'm about to get a Pontiac Fiero in all its crappy glory. The problem is that fieros have no power steering, and if I wanted to put it in, I would need the power steering rack out of a Merkur XR4TI. That's fine, excpet for the slight issue that those cars don't exist on this continent
If anyone comes across one of these, could you let me know how much the power steering rack would cost and how much shipping would cost to the Los Angeles area? I would need the rack, power steering assembly, etc.. up to the joint since I don't need the steering wheel or the column / shaft for that matter.

Uhm, the Merkur XR4 was the american version of the Sierra XR4, so it should be available in the US.

but anyway, the car was just too crappy so i'm not gonna buy it
its so fun to drive, even though it's extremely flawed, but i just cant afford the repairs... oh well, MR2 MK1 here i come!

My high school librarian had one. Best turbo sedan with leather and a 5-speed that you can get for under two grand.

I bet you could find the rack on eBay, and knowing Ford they probably used it in some other stuff too.
