Use Versiontracker to search for apps.
http://www.versiontracker.com/macosx/

I use the basic BitTorrent client, but sometimes use Azureus.

Welcome to the world of Macs!
What machine are you using and what is the OS?
If you have bluetooth on your Mac and have a bluetooth phone (SonyEric) or PDA try Salling Clicker
http://homepage.mac.com/jonassalling/Shareware/Clicker/

it's download.com, without the s at the end, it still works...

I got a Mac and Azureus is the way to go. Check the Downloads section of this site and you will find a link to their site. They have an OSX version.

Good job switching to the Mac :D
