But I still love the work he has done, it might be a bit out of proportion, but that effort is great. What happened to the car, did he sell it?
 
i like the F50 made from the NSX better. this looks like an SLK
 
This guy did the merc based on some diecast model on a protoype slr, so that's why it looks a bit weird I think, he took the measurments from that. Who knows what that model looked like. :)

F50 from the NSX is crap, completely pointless, ruining a perfectly good NSX. :thumbsdown:

the guy ironically enough beat mclaren and finished his before they sold the first SLR :lol:

the NSX was done with foam, which isn't that hard, i've done it myself, but the SLR was done by hand-pounding sheet metal over a wooden frame (he did what ferrari did for the 250 GTO), an insane amount of work.
 
what happened to it? did merc sue the guy who built it?

Yeah, but the SLR-fake was at least a Mercedes before all the work was done. The NSX/F40 is just silly, IMO.
