Good idea, and I like the layout of the track. But that airfield looks like it might be used a bit more often than the one that TG films at. ;)
 
Haha, yeah, the airport is still in operation. But whenever I fly out from it I always think how much fun it would be to get a free hit on all that tarmac.

Some of the corner names are frineds' nicknames, others are taken from the local area, the rest are pretty self-explanatory.

It takes a bit of effort, but it's pretty easy really and a bit of a laugh.

PS : in fact, its not even an airport, its an "air terminal" because it doesnt even have a control tower (lol)
 
Haha, must be in a region cause the map isn't high-res

BTW Even our "International" Jean-Lesage Airport is a POS, it's quite old, small and there's barely no flights..

My gf's father works there in the control tower, I always thought everything was controlled from Montreal these days but apparently it isn't..

sorry bout the size, and I can't be arsed to name the corners.

would have done it at Teeside as there's a lot more fun to be had there, but I can't get good enough arial views
 
I had several thousand layouts to choose from. This one is 9.4 miles long with a 1.75 mile straight. I tried to mix high speed straights with lots of corners.

We got to get the AMG/M/S cars up to pace somehow. ;)

On a sidenote. I just checked back with google earth and they updated the satelite images for Hamburg.
All you low ressers should check if they did the same for your region.
 
Until now Google world cut around 100m before my place, and it is still like that...grrr.....but luckly my dutch place is on it ;)
