Matt2k's ?500 Banger Watch Graveyard

Damn, no super-cheap Citroen XMs. Probably a good thing.

Nothing in the UK under about ?1500 and they go up to ?3K. I already did some looking when TCDoe got his. They were never very common and since they were the last truly quirky car that Citroen produced they were always destined to be a classic albeit a niche one.

I bet in a couple of years a tidy black C6 could be a viable option......

EDIT: Nope, C6s are like rocking horse shit. Only 8 for sale nationwide on Auto Trader and the cheapest one nearly ?5K.

Things called "C4" that I would prefer over one from Citroen.

1. Explosives.
2. Envelopes.

I agree with public on the 480ES. It may not be a great car but it is still cool.

It is a Bertone, it doesn't look horrible, it's unique, and carry some features over from the P1800, like the large rear window.

Now for more cars found in UKLandia. :p

a Volvo 940 wagon. though says 135hp, thechnically it is 136 :p meaning it's the B230FX engine, same engine used in Police spec Volvos.

Another Volvo 940, also with the 135hp engine. But it's also a 7 seater :p

Yet another 940, but with a 2 liter engine, i actually didn't know they came with less than 2.3 liters. Also automatic. :p

it's a Alfa 156, SPORTWAGON, in all caps. :p

or maybe an Audi without a bonnet? :p

or a FWD V6 Audi 80?

maybe a Forester?

I knew I could trust you guys to do me proud and find lots of crap excellent cars. :D

Daewoos were star prizes on gameshows for many years in the late '90s and early '00s, piles of garbage. The Kenari is the Perodua that fortunately didn't look like a Nissan Micra clone and avoided getting hammered to death by Clarkson.

You know what I'd really like is a late '80s MR2 but they don't seem available for cheaps. Why not?

I don't know if it's like with Norway, but the MR2 was never sold here, yet there are tons of them around, and they cost a lot still, might be due to import?

The W10 was sold here but I don't know how popular it was. There's one for sale nearby but it's ?1800. I did however find one being sold alongside a 924, for ?800!

Sadly the price isn't for both cars, just for the 924 and that needs work. The MR2 is listed at ?480 and 'scrappy'. For some reason it's still tempting to phone Japha and ask if I can get a free cake in the deal. :|

Old Top Gear did an MR2 segment; given the wet climate of the UK I'd expect many of them to be rusty.

We got a billion of them imported via Japan, theres plenty of them here. Usually fucked by JDMOMFGDRIFTO!!!

..soon to be JDMOMGSPIN seeing as a short-wheelbase MR car is a terrible choice for drifting.

they try drifting with 1.2 Vauxhall Novas, and they're FWD... so i'd think they'd try MR2 too. :p
and thanks to the internet, there's bunches of "JDMWTFBBQ" cars about, with the junior driver stickers and rising sun stickers about, dangling things from the rear bumper and think they're the new drift king, and not only in the UK :p
