Wow, this season of Fifth Gear is no where remotely close to as exciting or entertaining as the new Top Gear season... However, I can't wait to see next week's shootout between the Elise and the Vauxhaul :)

I agree. I used to love Tiff and the gang but now that the production quality is so high on Top Gear, I'm starting to lean towards that show. I wish Tiff was still on Top Gear though. The tension between Tiff and Jeremy was great. Now Richard and James are just kind of Jeremy's pee-ons.

5th gear does have Vicki though :wink:

Well after watching the two most recent episodes I realised that I do like Fifth Gear more than I thought , its nearly as good as Top Gear. I thoroughly enjoyed both episodes. However when I only have one new one to watch a half hour is a little short. And finally , Vicky seemed hotter than I remembred which is fine by me.

The Van test was quite funny, but I just KNOW that if it was on top gear it would have gone like this (Say in a sly Clarkson voice)

So, the Stig has done the lap times and the Mercedes is a full 5 seconds slower than the Transit.

The Traction control kills the performance.

But I couldn't help thinking how it would have done without it,

(Cut to picture of a hand yanking a fuse)

SO WE TURNED IT OFF

(Cut to White Van Stig completely sideways in Sprinter van with the back wheels spinning)

The Merc was FWD. :p

And my boss/mom's bf really wants a Freightliner Sprinter (the Merc which has been rebranded).
 
It's RWD, Tiff said so, The engine was mounted longitudinally too, which implies RWD.
 
I thought the Ford was RWD and the Merc was FWD and had traction control and such...
