Australian news papers in general are total crap filled with rubbish tabloids and poorly research opinion pieces (both the 'left' and 'right' papers are the same)

Too early to tell as the exact extent of the damage hasn't been established. Also, Australian fauna (and flora) has generally evolved to adapt to frequent bushfires which have occurred over millions of years.
 
Was a plane, and looks like it was structural failure. No less devastating.

NBC needs to go back to geography and learn where cities are :lmao:

Just showed my friend 5 minutes ago this picture via whatsapp because he is currently for a year in Australia ... he said "they're counting every lighter as a wild fire" lol.

The Prime Minister was out firefighting last weekend. We've had a coach doing shift changeovers for a week or more, and he was on the 6am-6pm shift last Sunday. Coach was escorted by his security detail.
