Not bringing the dog. Ferries now booked. Arrive France around lunchtime Friday Aug 4th, ETA whatever campsite in the Verdun Gorge area late afternoon Saturday.

Yes, I'm planning to bring the touring since it doesn't get much use currently - not counting the 200 km tour to the US car season opening on May 1st I drove just 200 km in the last month...

I just got a good bicycle and am training up my stamina and hoping to lose some fat, but I don't see myself hauling it for 2 weeks through europe.
I think that proposed timetable still stands, right (works perfectly fine for me, I just want to confirm)? That means the Viaduc de Millau wouldn't be on our route since it's some 350 km away from the Verdon gorge.Arrive at chosen campsite Sat Aug 5th

Tues Aug 8th - Loop 3 of awesome local roads TBC
Wed Aug 9th - Day 1 of Riviera to Ringmeet beginning with Route Napoleon, taking in some other good roads possibly finishing somewhere in the Alsace.
Thu Aug 10th - Day 2 of Riviera to Ringmeet featuring interesting roads in the morning and a highway thrash after lunch.
