So some things have transpired since last post.

1. Both front belts have been changed with a slight delay of game thanks to snafus with the parts website.
2. Wheels and tires have arrived, 2 earlier this week, 2 on Saturday for some reason, so those should be installed hopefully sometime this week.
3. While puttering around the wine fields of southern Germany, as I was about to turn onto the ramp for the autobahn route back to Thomas', I was yielding to a van coming to the ramp also, as he was turning left onto the ramp and I was going to turn right. Person behind me didn't notice I stopped and bumped Luigi, so you'll notice some damage to the bumper, not to worry, insurance is handling it but I will refrain from photos about that incident until the matter has been fully sorted.

4. Didn't stop from enjoying the gorgeous weather that the Black Forest is currently offering. I cannot be more happy at the moment.

Yeah, one would think. @loose_unit told me to post the crash photos, so here we go.

My wife got rear ended in a similar fashion 2 weeks ago.

Her car seems ok, so we didn't involve insurance, but a few hours after the crash she started to get the effects from the whiplash. Now she's been put off work for 1 month because it seems to have brought back some symptoms from her last concussion.

I’ll make a few calls tomorrow to find a local shop to get it sorted. I’m also waiting on some quotes for the head gasket, I don’t really have the time or motivation to do it myself …

Anyway I also purchased a car seat that will work in Luigi so I can start using it with my daughter again (she outgrew the first one)

I am looking forward to having him back and getting it sorted!!!

As I said on Telegram, golden wheels are better suited for darker coloured cars. Luigi would look better with gunmetal ones, but IIRC those were not in stock?

also, we tried the gunmetal colors and well, see for yourself.
