Mercury Meta One Concept looks like....

I was browsing thru dieselstation this evening, and I happened across this pic

Ok, looks alright...but looks similar to something from aus doesn't it?

Doesn't look so different from the front, but its not too hard to do a different nose....
but the rest of the car looks so uncannily like the territory......

Yeah, I see a similarity...but then, what small SUV doesn't look like every other one?
 
Well, they're both made by Ford, and if they use the same platform it's not surpising that they look similar.
 
Yes, Nearly all of Mercurys vehicles are direct copies of Ford vehicles. The Mountaineer/Explorer, Mariner/Escape, Montego/500, Monterey/Freestar, and Grand Marquis/Crown Victoria are all twin vehicles.

I doubt they're using the same platform, the Territory is based on the australian falcon platform, that should be exported, but only comes in right hand drive, but I don't have any details 'bout the merc.
