Okay, I have noticed a couple of people in here like the simpsons and wondered if you have noticed some mistakes. I have some here :)

In the episode where Lisa becomes a vegetarian, you see Apu sitting at a table at the BBBQ laughing at Lisa when she comes out with the tomatosoup, but later find out he is a vegan, what is he doing at a BBQ

In an episode you find out that Ned Flanders is a pensioner, but then later there is a doctor that says that he remember 30 years ago when he treated him, and then you se Ned as a 7-10 year old.
You don't retire at 40 in USA do you?

In the episode "Behind the Laughter" they pretend to go behind the simpsons, and at some point they have to record a song and one of them says that none of them had sung before. But in a previous episode you saw how Homer, Apu, Skinner and Barney started The Be Sharps about the time Lisa was born.

In "Marge not be proud" Bart steals the Bonestorm game. At some point he goes to Millhouse to play but Millhouse yells to his mother that Bart swears and she drags him down the stairs, but the house Millhouse lives in has only 1 level.

In the episode where Bush Sr. moves in across the street it is a huge mansion, but other times it's just a little house.

In the intro you se everybody driving home and Marge and Homer has a car each and the drive and carport(sp?) is double, but sometimes they only have one car and the drive and carport has shrunk.

In an episode they fall asleep in church and start to dream. In the dream where Millhouse is Moses he leads the people to the toilets to empty the ocean, the water disappears completly but the pipes only goes half way out. And where did the toilets come from.

When Homer becomes "sanitation comminisioner" and they have to use "plan b" they have to move the houses, you se the family standing in the door of their house and Moes is next to it with the door away from the house, but in the next minute Homer jumps over to Moes and the front is facing the other way.

Then there is the issue of the age.
In the beginning of the series Apu is a bachelor and Maggie is a baby. Then Apu gets married to Manjula and Maggie is a baby. Manjula gets pregnant and Maggie is a baby. Manjula gives birth to the octtoplets and Maggie is a baby. In the episode with Homers daycare the octtoplets have outgrown Maggie who still is a baby.

Then there is Homers IQ (or lact of)
In one episode he is stupid because of the simpson gene that only affects male simpsons. But in another episode he has a crayon in his brain that makes him stupid, and when it is removed he is smart, and he gets stupid again when Moe puts it bact.

Damn that was alot  so anybody notice others :D

IT AN ANIMATED T.V. SHOW...NOT REAL LIFE! :p

(Man your hands must hurt after typing all of that. )

^ Yeah, it was more than I thought

this is only a teeny tiny teeny tiny chunk of the mistakes. I've seen the actual list and its supposed to be a hundred pages long or so.

Yeah I know, that's why I wrote 'some' ;)

I think some of these are done on purpose to give you something out of the ordinary to watch for. One obvious example is the episode where Bart has joined the "Junior Campers" (a pun on the BSA). While watching Itchy and Scratchy with Homer and Lisa, Bart says, "The guys who wrote this show don't know squat. Itchy should have tied Scratchy's tongue with a taut-line hitch, not a sheet bend." Lisa responds with, "Oh, Bart, cartoons don't have to be 100 percent realistic." Immediately afterward, a second Homer walks past the window, humming to himself, while the Homer on the couch is still in the shot.

It's called flexible reality. Bending the show for certain jokes.

I.e. Homer earns $40 a wekk, but at one stage pulls out $1100 out of his wallet.

And it's for nerds to argue which was the "worst episode ever" on the net

[cough]someone has too much time on their hands[/cough] It's like that one episode when homer does a voice for the itch and scratchy show, and he is answering questions and this one nerd asks about some mistake in the show and homer says: "and why are you, with your genius at work t-shirt, spending so much time with a children's tv show." That was a paraphrase. I don't remember the actual quote. I havent watched that show for the past couple of years.
