What do you think are the best motherboard/video card monitoring programs?

I'm looking for a good one that will store data in a text log file every so many minutes.

I've used Motherboard Monitor in the past, but it doesn't seem to support my current mobo (It's not on the list any way).

I've been using ATI Tool to monitor my video card temperatures, but now all of the sudden for some unkown reason everytime I launch the program it turns my screen completely white, except for the cursor :(

I'd like to hear what you use :)

Intel Active Monitor. :)

I may be wrong, but I'm gussing it won't work for rival processors? :)

^ Or rival motherboards.

And then, not even all Intel boards !

Intel? Active Monitor is an alerting utility created by Intel and available exclusively on Intel? Desktop Boards.(1)

...

1)Not available on all Intel Desktop Boards. Check your individual board product CD for availability.
Hey that computer of mine may not be the fastest out there but it came loaded with features. :)

I have been using motherboard monitor...though you want to change it works best for me....what is your board?

^^ A+ for effort but a mere C- for advertency. I'd give you a B-.

I give myself an F for not reading through the thread :bangin:

At least you tried to help out. It's the thought that counts (As long as it comes in proper grammar, spelling and punctuation).

I've been using Speedfan for the last 2/3 years. It supports my AMD processor and Epox Mobo just fine. I believe it does logging but can't confirm as my PC is on the fritz (as explained in another thread in this section). It also displays hard drive temps which can be useful. Unfortunately though I've never got it to monitor my graphics card temps and have used Asus' own utilities for that - though they've never been too great...

Thanks dudes: I'll give both of them a whirl

Currently, I'm trying ATI Tray Tools for video card temp monitoring, but I can't seem to find a way to change the time interval for writing to the log file. I want something that will log like every 5 minutes as opposed to every 2 seconds.

Keep the suggestions coming ;)

EDIT:

I can get either Speedfan or Systool to log. Systool says the feature isn't available yet, but maybe with Speedfan I'm overlooking something....

And when I turned off Speedfan, my fans revved up like crazy and wouldn't idle down until I rebooted.

Have you checked Hardware Monitoring > Settings and selected your Mainboard and the sensor plugins ?

Yes, the monitoring works, but the logging doesn't seem to be a feature of the program yet. Does it work for you? When I go to "Hardware Monitoring > Logging", It simply says "This feature is not available, yet."
