old Saab 9-3 coup?
Ahead of its debut at this weekend's gorgeousness that is the Villa d'Este "Carnival of the Rich," British stalwart Morgan is previewing its new Aero Super Sports, its latest aluminum-chassis'd roadster.

Like some of its more recent siblings, the limited-edition roadster will once again make use of BMW power, in this case, Bimmer's 4.8-liter V8 paired with either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission (power figures are not being disclosed at this time).

Its curvaceous bodywork features a two-panel detachable roof arrangement, giving both the feel of a hardtop coupe or a convertible (the panels fit in the trunk), and the interior is loaded with the expected quantities of hand-stitched hides and polished timber.

Slated for production in 2010, the Super Sports is "anticipated to cost around ?127,000 including VAT" (around $187k USD), although you'll want to queue quickly with a ?25,000 (@ $37k) check in hand as a deposit for this centennial special. High-res gallery below, official press release after the jump.

I can't describe how much, in words, I want this car.

The Aeromax coupe is FAR better, but this is still very beautiful.

The back end is... bad. And the taillings are from one of those weird Lancias no one ever bought (Thesis?), aren't they?

The taillights are from the Lancia Thesis and the headlights are from the Mini. I'm a little disappointed that the glass area in the back was modified, especially if it's a targa and not a traditional convertible.

I know I may be biased, but oh my god fucking want. I say it is not ugly - nowhere near either - the rear is a bit better than the Aeromax, and the side profile now looks even more awesome.

I love it. My girlfriend is with most of you in saying the back isn't so good, but i like that as well.

Looks great up front, and would look great in back had it not been for those two circular light things. And the gas filler cap needs to be moved.

Never was a big fan of Morgan... and these the future meets the past models are even worse IMO, at least the normal kind has some type of old time charm.
