Motor Show: Daihatsu Be Go

Daihatsu calls this an "SUW" - sports utility wagon - which reflects that the Be Go is a little more car-like than the current Terios mini-4x4.

It's essentially similar to the D-Compact 4x4 concept seen in Frankfurt earlier this year, with a 1.5-litre petrol engine, full-time four-wheel drive with central differential lock and high ground clearance, which suggests that it should be pretty competent off-road.

Daihatsu promises that it is "highly manoeverable" and that there is room for five adults to travel in comfort plus 380 litres of luggage space.

The Be Go - an abbreviation of 'being there' and 'going somewhere' - is slated for production next year.
