Multi region DVD players

Living in Toronto I'm not sure where to get them except ordering online on Amazon. Know any places where they do sell them?

No, no major retail store, like Circuit City, Best Buy etc. woould have them, I they're only available online. Fry's might have them, I've never looked for those there. But if you were to get them at a brick and mortar store, it's be a small indie shop most likely

i think all the china brand'd ones are multi region and generally cheaper.

like BBK, its china's sony, arnie advertises for them i think. some use sony parts

Most dvd playes can be made multi-regional by pressing some key combination, or via srvice menu, or burning service-CD and using it.

Just look here if the model you want can be switched to region 0 http://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers
