Autoblog: Murci, Murci Me: Lamborghini to unveil LP670-4 SV at Geneva

I have nothing against the Murc, but I really can't wait for something new to come out of Lambo.

Yeah, they haven't made a new car since 2003 and the Murc is comming on 7 years old now.

Considering the state of Volkswagens finances and the credit crunch, research and development budgets are bound to be cut.

We'll seeing more upgrades, rather than new from the likes of Lambo, Aston etc. until better times ahead.

220 pounds shaved off? Wow! That means the Murci weighs only what, 783 metric fuck-tons now!

<_<

Meh.. Rear-spolier is awful...

Hey stuff this thing, when are they gonna' do the 4 seater, frankly pornographic, car they showed last series of TG? o_O

Now that'll be worth talking about

Does this count?

Me rikey the rear spoiler!

But I do agree Lambo needs to start making a new car, and stop bettering every little niggle with every new version of every car. I bet if you put a "standard" Lambo from 2001 up against the latest one, they won't share many bits anymore...

they could have taken all that money and engineering skills and made a new car from the ground up...

Do I need to point out that they made the Countach for 25 years? They can fiddle with the Murcielago for a couple of more years. I don't think it looks aged at all, it's just that we are bored with it....but we are bored with a lot of things so...

The car looks like it was made by some 12 year old in Forza 2. <_<

Volkswagen is one of the few car companies not too much affected by credit crunch.

Much fewer people are buying cars though, and even fewer are buying the very expensive ones.

yeah and I hated that too... I don't mind them making only 1 or 2 cars, but stop refining them every other month and making yet another "special" edition

Special editions only are special if there aren't 14 other versions, all of which are "special" too

Isn't that... special.

Why can't they just ditch the AWD system to save another few kilos? It's not like the average Lambo driver will ever take it up to speeds where it will be necessary...

I don't really like the looks of this, that enormous spoiler is hideous. Maybe that would have looked good if they changed the rest of the body a bit.

Nice results on the engine and weightsaving though, but I too agree Lamborghini should make a new car, not keep changing existing models.

You wonder that about the Miura P400, P400S, P400SV, P400 Jota, P400 SV/J, the Countach LP400, LP400S, LP500, 5000QV, the 25th anniversary, the Walter Wolf, the Diablo SE30, SE30 Jota, SV, SVR, VT, GT, GTR, 6.0 SE as well?

Apparently this is what Lambo do. And you're the only one complaining.
