Awesome car. I almost had a '69 Impala coupe for my first car. Fucking almost. Friend owned it, it was a beater, he couldn't keep it running. When I finally scraped together whatever he wanted for it (like $600 iirc) he couldn't bring himself to sell it.

That was almost 13 years ago and I'm still salty about it. :lol:

Watching this reminds me of how ridiculuosly young i am and that i still in deep need of a live-axle. I need something from few decades back.

One of thoose dillemas with friends, like when he's tired of his lady and you two really fit together, but only thing to get her is to punch slacker in the face and say "she's mah gal now, spot." Otherwise, he'll keep het rotting to the graveyard. Tuff choice. Bad options. "Shitty call".

Ford has a great history with their mid-cycle refreshes, so the later Fox bodies go from completely fucking revolting to quite aesthetically pleasing, IMO.

I feel your pain. I had a chance to get a 79 Trans Am SE about 6 or 7 years ago for around 3500 bucks, but my dad said he wouldn't let me park it in the driveway because apparently he thought it would look like a redneck. Nothing was really wrong with the car, he just doesn't like post 1970 F-Bodies.

It looked exactly like this one but without the T-Tops...
