It was about time for a change so I bought myself what will be my first NEW car! ^_^

It is a Ford Focus (2008 restyling) with the rev happy 1.6 Ti - VCT engine.

Here are its specs:

- Black Metal?lic Paint
- 5 Door Version
- Trend Interior Package (Leather steering wheel + Cruise Control + A/C bizone)
- Kinetic Package (16' inch alloy wheels + Sporty Seats + Special back spoiler)
- V2C + Bluetooth
- Sony MP3 Audio System + 8 Speakers
- Tinted Back windows (I didn't order them but they gave me them for free so I didn't bother)

I'll be getting it factory new by the end of this month. I'll post the pics as soon as I get it! ^_^

Good taste, we expect to read some impressions once you get your hands on it :) Shame about the Escort, but as you say, it was time for it to go.

Very good choice Vltros. I hear its a great car and pretty fun to drive. :D Waiting for the photos

congrats mate :)

I drove a 1.6 Ti - VCT focus with a 4 speed auto for a few months. It slow with the auto box, but it should be great fun with a manual. Great buy ;-)

Awesome, I really dig the new Focuses.

They sold the Focus here for a while, but then they decided it might do them too much good. ;)

I like the restyle. It makes it look sharper :)

And good you got the sport pack and tinted windows. They make all the difference on these types of cars.

Be sure to post pics!

They took it away from the Canadian markets?! :? Idiots. Give it a couple years and they'll be looking to reintroduce it.

Well for a few years about a decade ago they sold something similar to the Euro Focus here. I wasn't aware, but apparently it's back on sale as of 2008. But who the hell cares when this is what it looks like:

You really wonder who the hell would of signed off on that design at ford.

Hahah!!

Well, at least they (Ford America) tried it.

Got a call from the dealership today! Next week (if everything goes as planned) I'll have my car ready to pick up! ^_^

Don't forget to update us :)

Don't forget to update us :)

Don't worry!! I surely will!!! ^_^

It is arriving next week. And I will post pics and first impressions as soon as I can!! ;)

Arghhh!!! It's horrible having to wait for your car to arrive!!! :?

The difference between the Euro Focus and the U.S. Focus is $6500.

ZOMG!!! Dude congratulations, I have no idea whatsoever about the car but a first car is always insanely exciting. Enjoy it!!!

Wouldn't the price difference be quite a bit less if the Euro Focus was built in the US? The fact of the matter is that the US Focus is a very weak (and ugly) competitor compared to its predecessor. It's not as if it's impossible to make a decent car for that price.
