I took a gander at some other countries' Subaru sites. UK and DE shows a no wing STI in photos, but UK only shows a non-wing STI for purchase. 5-door is still available.

So I'm guessing there is a handful of countries that will offer in time, US I bet will do a limited edition like the 06-07 STI w/o the wing.

That was the STi Limited, which is available in the current body style, but it still has the spoiler.
 
They say you can take the wing off, but you need to change the springs in the trunk lid then because it will smash the back window.
 
Had a loaner for two days, given it was a slushbox...the flat-6 had some decent getup! :D

Car was in for roof rails and rust coating on the inside panels. They even cleaned my winter wheels...silly gooses! :mrgreen: Also got the bike rack in the trunk, travel is my theme for 2011!

Went to the tinting shop at 9am...5% rear 30% front. No helping keeping the police from stopping me due to the levels, but with my medical dark tint exemption (photophobia, no joke)...hopefully they don't give me too much grief.

But I digress, It looks great! (considering the cell phone pics)

Took the grippy-thingy out of the console pocket and put some velcro-like double stick tape on the ball mount, worked like a charm!

Unfortunately after getting the windows tinted, the place I had the antenna (behind the back seats inside the car) had no signal, and the tinting guy said it wouldn't cause a problem :lol: So I did some clever wire hiding and put it up front in the corner...all is good now!

Now if I can figure out a way to route the wires into the center console pocket to rid of the two wires coming out of the radio...I'll be set.

Red rally pig stickers are in the mail and Rally Armor mudflaps are coming early next month. Also trying to decided if I want to go for some red lug nuts to add on to the red scheme I am going for.

Also debating on these: Black R205 fender plaque/badge, they look pretty decent and decently priced also. Maybe I'll hold off on those for a bit and fathom for a while.

Just broke 1000 miles, went in and got a free oil change and a free tank of gas :mrgreen:. Good think I didn't fill up at all last night, was on the warning light knowing I was getting one :lol:

But as I wandered the lot....saw my old friend in the cold :(

Had a new set of rubber (Continental ExtremeContacts, good tire afaik) and pads. Suprised they didn't set it in the showroom with the '11 Limited they have in there...would more suit the STI :|
 
Just thought that I'd add, "Mamma Sed" by Pusifer, fits perfectly with your video. It started right as I started your vid and I was amazing at the sincronisation.

I can see that, smooth song too :D. I'm compiling songs as I type (or typed) this post...trying to figure out what type of feel I want for the next video.

Next vid will probably be of the "next stage" of the video..going from the outside to the inside and starting it up. Nothing of a stupid shaky vid (like my walk-around :D) but more of a polished feel...so I'll keep on it.
