My 800 K trip w. Beetle to west. Norway, guess what happened

.... oh yes, ma' Beetle broke down. Well not exactly broke down, as much as the front right shock absorber shocked its way through the place it is hooked up to ... rust is the reason this happened I'd say ...

I reached Voss (near Bergen) around 02.30 Friday night, after a 7 hr. driive from Oslo, not a single issue with the car. Then, the next day my buddy and I went on a day trip over the mountain, then suddenly the shock absorber broke ... (The noise is horrible..)
I will explain what happened next later today.

Will post lots of nice pictures of beautiful Norway and its country side, mountains as long as the eye can see ...

hood up? We fixed it btw, so it was driveable back to Oslo ... ca. 140 km.h - V Max, it's got a 1600 cc engine ...

Sure, I just need the right arm for the front axle, which holds the wheel up and connects to the shock absorber. i'll get it from the scrap yard ...

it reminds me of olden day ladies or olden day chinese girl where they refer themselves in 3rd person (read them in novels/movies). it makes them cute.
