I thought I'd start this thread to keep me busy and to get some discussions/arguments going After all, the last thread I started to keep myself busy (Lens Flair) seemed to go quite well!
Anyways, this is about what I regard to be good car to buy - I intend to try and keep it updated as much as I can and I'll probably end up posting more than one a week, but what the hell
I'm going to be choosing one car a week that I think will go up in value over the few years that one would hypothetically own it. I'm going to try and keep it classy and tasteful, it is theoretically meant to be a daily car, and also keep prices realistic - ie no Enzos!
Feel free to post your own cars in this thread too btw - might as well try and keep discussions at a max Let's see how this goes!
Ok - for my first one I'm gonna post this:
1979 Ford Escort MkII
Details can be found here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=29755&item=4556876285&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW
I like this car not only because it is a classic piece of motoring history, but because of the fantastic condition of this particular example. Shame she's in white, but with only 20,000 miles on the clock - who can refuse?
So, let me know what you think
