Well, I had to sell my Corsa, because we are moving 50 km's from here, to a new house, and my school is going to be 60km-s from me, so I needed a realiable, fast car. Well here she is: 1.6 TDi with big turbo, and big intercooler with 1.2 bar of boost  It goes fast, and its quite reliable. Its lowered (60/40 I guess), has 14' alloys (will change to 15' tho), etc.

I'm going to buy corrado G60 seats for it, and I'm going to flock (dunno how its called?) the dashboard, and some other plastic stuff from the interrior.

So far so good :) It goes, it turns, and looks quite good imho.

So the pics (sorry, quite crappy, just ran out and made some random shots):

Man oh man, I love those gen Golfs! <3

Needs a bath / detail though and you're right, some better wheels.

Looks great! Very clean.

Most of the old Golfs I see have rust issues.

Grats on the car, sounds like a fun drive! :D

Looks amazing, though I agreee, It needs differnet rims.

Thanks guys!

So my plans:
- 15x7 BBS RS
- Corrado or GTI Recaro's
- VDO Gauge's (watertemp, oiltemp, oilpressure)
- Black headliner
- Flocked dash
- Build the boost gauge somewhere in the dash
- GTI flares

I want corrado of MKIII dashboard, 1.9 TDI engine, etc... But not now, these are future plans.. :)

Sweet, a diesel with a boost gauge:lol:

Nice, subtle colour, too.

Nice car, I really like the Mark 2 Golf and they can be modded easily and not look like carbarge

nice, but your Corsa couldn't handle 120 km/day? it must have been in really poor shape :D

Well... :) It was SHIT :D It was my sisters car, and she never changed oil, never checked the water, etc... So it was really bad.

Sweet, a diesel with a boost gauge:lol:

Yeah i need it cos if the boost adjuster fails, I can see it before anything bad happens :)

Soo... Today I bought some plush material, and covered the A-B-C Pillars, and the headliner. The pillars look kick ass, the headliner is fine. It needs more glue under it, cos the sun heats the glue up, and the carpet falls down :( So I have to redo the headliner. And I want to install lights in the back (into the headliner), so I have to take it out again.

Pics will come, but I'm exhausted, so laters :)

TO be honest, i like streching, but not the extreme type :? Now I run 15x7 with 195/50 witch is normal, but I would love to buy /45 but i dont have money :)

So, only one pic for now:

Ah, didnt have time to flock the dash, but I will show you how it looks :)

From vwvortex:

And a little literature ;)

And it is good, cos: the dash wount reflect on the windscreen, it gives a little more soundproofing, and its very nice :) They usualy flock the dashes of rallycars, etc. Its not an old technique, maybe 10 years old? So quite new.

EDIT: some more flocked dashes, from clio R3 rallycar:

Just ordered racing brake pads, and vented discs, cos I had enough of "not braking"...

You really go all-out with your cars, don't you? :p
I quite like it. With that much boost, it must really move when you nail it!

One of my best mates has a Mk.3 VR6, it's crazy-fast. After almost always driving my Landcruiser, I drove his golf and my head just about came off :p

BTW, I believe what you're doing to the interior is felting it. It looks very nice, I must say.

"You really go all-out with your cars, don't you? "

I dont understand what you are saying with that?

Well its not THAT fast :) But its fine. Here is a very VERY fast 1.9 PDTDI from hungary, :

wait untill 1:28

231bhp, 464NM ;)

That's... hysterical. Sounds like a bus, blows smoke like the busses around here but... Yikes that thing winds on speed at a rapid rate! It must be a bit worrying to look at the speedo and see it pointing to the number on the odometer, which is getting bigger :p

With the "All out" thing, I was trying to say you seem to take fairly ordinary looking cars and then really push the bondaries of what's sensible and possible... It's wonderful!
