i can't set this bitch up!
i had it working great, but now
when i turn the wheel even a little, tiny bit
the driver in the game flails like a madman
turning the wheel from lock to lock in like 2 milliseconds
i'd like more travel in my wheel....

currently using the demo, can some one help me
setup my momo logitech wheel?

In the game. Turn the wheel far to the left and then far to the right. Do the same with the pedals.

Well, you might want to dramatically reduce the sensitivity in the Wingman Profiler.
I've got my wheel set to something like 10% for LFS.

i don't use the profiler actually...
it only gets in teh way =]

but i will try to experiment....

 :?

okay i've got my wheel setup and weighted perfectly (for me)
and now i'm working on my car setup, where are the links for
pre made car setups again?

for now i have the rwd car (in the demo) and i raised the final
drive so it is quicker and i dialed in a little understeer using
37psi in teh back and 35 up front - this kills the tail happy
nature of the car on sudden lift off throttle....

Oh I can't live without the profiler, and for you "it just gets in my way", that made me chuckle.

Yah, you've said that before, but you haven't explained why.
I can't understand it, you can configure everything you want.
It does everything you want.
And it works like a charm, I've never had any problems with it (and I've been using it for probably 4, 5 years or so now).

Explain please. :? :bangin:

it sucks ergonomically, it's got that Microsoft-inspired mind, (it wants to take over your computer) and it doesn't work that great for what it's supposed to do. I prefered the simple and unobstructive software my thrustmaster had.

Sucks ergonomically? WTF does that mean? Even a child could use it.
It wants to take over your computer? What the hell? :?
Are we talking about the same software here?
BTW I used to own a thrustmaster wheel, and it was unobstructive because you couldn't configure a damn thing.

yeah but most software's auto run can be turned off...

i tried your setup for the blackwood demo espn but i didn't like
it...wtf did u do with teh rear diff lol, that things at 10 =]he eheh

but i did take some ideas away from yoru setup and am still
working on mine....
lap times are in mid 1.40's flying start

I like the Wingman software myself. :| My only complaint is that if I don't boot the game via Wingman, it won't apply the settings.

ah well, go back to your Mac Mini ESPN
Well you seem to have a theme going with hating things for the sake of hating it.

I hate it when software wants to run all the time. My computer starts with only 17 processes running.
Most programs have an option to not start on startup, and Profiler does have an option for that.
Is that what you mean by "taking over your computer" Ren?

I mean that it wants to fuck up with all your game, seaches for more games, wants to override the games steups with it's setups... urgh I hate it.

And as for macs, I use one for my photo class, I had used one before for movie editing and I hate them so fucking much

The only thing I like is the dock is OS X, but guess what? We have OS 9,2!!!!! :x
