hi guys, i'm having trouble on this one track, the infinieon...or something like that...
i'm using the toyota 88c race car in the extreme race on that track, and i just cant get the car to win the race, 2nd place is as close as i ever got. any suggestion to the tuning of the car? i tried changing the mods a lil bit, but it didnt seem to have helped me....so help guys!

http://www.gtvault.com is your friend they usually have a number of setups and tuning guides to help you throught certain kinds of courses you do need to sign up but it's free and i never get any spam from them

Make sure to qualify (training) You can do this best with the qualifing tyres. If you don't end up first and have to pit, just go to training again, and you can have another shot. By starting first (I've always been first with qualifing), your chances of finishing first will be so much larger. And with the races with the highly powerfull cars (lemans), don't tune them at all, they will be more stable when stock. I never tuned my car for the extreme races (haven't finished them all yet).

And I got a lot of help with this

Not a bad site at all...some help imminent.
Just ensure your car is fully modified including the "body refresher plan" for $30k or $50k...ensure you just fill up oil before the race because that adds like 5% of you total horsepower to your new total....ever know that huh<<?
Finally dont fuck it up in that first corner by going wide...TURN into it. Its negative camber and is a bitch at times.
btw im still playing GT4 all the time and loving it

thxn guys! although i havent had time to try the tips yet, i think they'll do me some good!

The minolta toyota is crap anyway, use the Nissan r92cp, far, far better, the minolta just has a higher top speed, but it eats tyres for breakfast.

Your correct. It does :( In endurance races with Super Hard compound tires on, all you see is that TCS light flickering as you stuggle for traction

well 4.5million creds later I enjoy the Audi R8

try to catch the audi A4 DTM, just so amazing on the ring...
without all that controls off, of course...

As you would imagine, being 92% into the game, I would have a huge garage right?? Well yeah I do and thats mainly cos I quite literally havnt sold anycars at all since the start of the game. Even up against all those cars, my Audi A4DTM has one of the best power to weight ratio's in the game. Its really good

I only have 2  . I didnt have enough for the Toyota TS020 in black which looks like a stealth fighter! I got the R92 and the 787B.

I have all of em and I cant help but wish I had the normal colours. They look shit but then again I got them at a bargin :|

yea um, i'm not quite sure how to get those cars...i know that for the nissan r92cp or something, i need to cmplete all these missions like 30-34 to get that...so any suggestion?

ah Mission 34 - that one will take some practice... and a lot of frustration - waiting 2 mins to have a go only to fire off at the third corner can get kinda annoying (the dualshock - no fancy wheel for me :( - almost went through the window a couple of times...)

Those are called "the black racers". Can be found from day 694 till 700 (and the next cycly) (IIRC) in the used cars sections. They cost about 8 million together. Nothing fancy, but they're quite cheap compared to the coloured ones. (and cool to own)

Yah, really kind of stupid that there isn't a "I'd like to stay sane please, so please skip ahead two minutes" option.
